Effective immediately, ALL DOGS visiting the Canoe Rental must be leashed at ALL times, NO EXCEPTIONS. Dogs
are not to be left unattended. NO PITBULLS or other aggressive breeds are allowed at any time. We must enforce these
new rules for the safety of our customers. Thank you, Ben.
ELK RIVER CANOE RENTAL, LLC offers canoes, kayaks, and tubes for those who desire to get away from it
all! Come join us where it's PRISTINE and GREEN and float with us on the
Beautiful and Scenic Elk River in South Central Tennessee. Enjoy a day with
nature that will long be remembered.
We offer every visitor, young or old, a chance to
experience the peace and joy of floating a beautiful river. You'll see Blue
Heron soaring, "leading" you down the river, turtles basking in the sun on a
log at the edge of the cool clear water. The Elk River is well known to trout
and bass fishermen throughout the area. Tims Ford Lake and State Park with its
excellent campgrounds, swimming pool, hike and bike trails is nearby.
Lynchburg, just down the road, hosts thousands who tour the world famous Jack
Daniel's Distillery. Historic, fully restored Falls Mill is close by. Our own city
of Fayetteville is known for its historic "town square" consisting of
speciality and antique shops. Come spend some time on "our" river and enjoy
South Central Tennessee.
Float for a few hours, a day, or
several days. We feature beautiful "Old Town Discovery Canoes" and "Jackson Kayaks"
including the Regal, sit-on-top Riviera, and for the fisherman, the "Big Tuna".
We provide comfortable flotation vests, paddles, and transportation to and from the river.
We have changing rooms, restrooms, and primitive camp-grounds on the river. We
welcome "First Timers," experienced canoeists, individuals, families or groups
of any size. We'll be happy to help you plan your trip. We offer group
discounts for groups of 10 or more. Advanced reservations are advised. We
promise courteous and dependable service. Come see us and have fun on the
river! Bed & Breakfast, Motels and Restaurants are nearby.
